My Cavalier takes these easily, and I love having one simple daily chew for heart and circulation support. She's small and picky, so the fact that she just eats it like a treat is the whole reason we've stuck with it.

Daily Chew Guide
How many chews per day?

One chew daily for Cavaliers under 20 lb. That single chew carries the full EPA/DHA, taurine, and CoQ10 amounts printed on the panel — there's no loading phase and no reason to double up.

Is it made for daily use?

Yes. Nutritional support builds up over time rather than working in a single dose, so the chew is formulated to be given every day, long-term. Most owners fold it into breakfast so it isn't one more thing to remember.

My Cavalier seems healthy — does she still need it?

These are nutrients, not medication, so there's no threshold you have to cross before they're appropriate. It's daily nutrition in the same way an omega-3 or a joint chew is.

If your vet has told you something specific about your dog, follow that first — we're not a substitute for that conversation.

Can I give this alongside my dog's prescription?

Ask your vet or cardiologist before you start, and go with what they tell you. This is nutritional support — it is not a replacement for anything your dog has been prescribed, and it isn't meant to change any medication or dose.

Will my picky Cavalier actually eat it?

It's a soft chew, not a capsule or a pill you have to bury in cheese. That said, some dogs turn down anything new.

If yours won't take it, email us and we'll refund you. You don't need to send the bag back.

It started in an exam room, with a question I didn't know how to ask.

I'd had Cavaliers for eleven years, so I knew what this breed asks of you. What I didn't know was that when I finally went looking for something to give her every day, everything on the shelf had been built for a Labrador and shrunk down to fit. Under-dosed. Over-flavored. Seven ingredients where three would have done the job.

So I made the chew I couldn't find. Dosed for a dog who weighs less than a bag of flour. Simple enough to give every single day, because that's the only way any of this works.

Every bag we ship is for somebody's little one. I don't take that lightly.

Every order helps fund cardiac care for a rescue Cavalier.

A cardiology workup for one dog — the echo, the x-rays, the specialist's time — runs several hundred dollars before any treatment begins. For a family, that's a hard bill. For a rescue Cavalier with no family yet, it's usually the end of the conversation: the shelter doesn't have it, so the dog gets placed without anyone ever looking.

We couldn't build a brand around Cavalier heart nutrition and then look past the Cavaliers who need an actual cardiologist. So 5% of every order goes toward funding cardiac workups and medication for rescue Cavaliers.

It isn't a campaign. It's just what we do.

Why the dose matters:

Most cardiac chews were built for a big dog and shrunk to fit — and most of them won't tell you how much is actually in there.

Seven ingredients, none at dose

A 2025 Tufts review of 60 combination cardiac supplements found a median of seven active ingredients per product — some as many as 32. Very few reached the doses commonly recommended for any of them.

Most labels won't let you check

Only 23 of the 60 disclosed enough information to calculate a dose at all. The rest list ingredients without amounts, which makes them impossible to compare — including against us.

Testing claimed more than proven

Nineteen products advertised third-party testing. Nine actually provided it. A claim on a label and a certificate you can read are not the same thing.

Size is not a formula

A chew built for a 70-pound dog and scaled down doesn't become a small-breed chew. Body weight changes the dose — it shouldn't be the only thing that changes.

Real support. Built on ingredient science.

Nutrition for a muscle that never gets a day off.

The heart is muscle, and in a Cavalier it contracts well over a hundred times a minute for the whole of the dog's life. EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids and taurine are the two nutrients with the most support behind them for that kind of working tissue — which is why they lead this formula instead of appearing at the bottom of a list of thirty.

Is this right for your dog?

Tap the ones that sound familiar:

My Cavalier is under 20 lbs

Then this is dosed for her. It isn't a large-breed formula scaled down — the amounts were set for dogs this size, and every one of them is printed per chew so you can check the maths yourself.

She's already on prescription medication

Talk to your vet or cardiologist before you add anything, and go with what they tell you. This is nutritional support. It doesn't replace anything your dog has been prescribed and isn't meant to change a medication or a dose.

She seems perfectly healthy

These are nutrients, not medication, so there's no threshold to cross first. It's daily nutrition in the same way an omega-3 or a joint chew is — most owners start here simply because the routine is easy to keep.

She spits out every supplement

Fair. It's a soft chew rather than a capsule or a tablet you have to bury in cheese, which solves it for most dogs — but not all of them.

If yours won't take it, email us and we'll refund you. You don't need to send the bag back.

I've already done the research

Then you'll want the panel, not the pitch. Per-chew amounts for every active ingredient, and a third-party certificate of analysis we'll send on request.

Compare it against whatever else you're considering. That's the comparison we'd rather you make.

What the first 90 days look like

Nutrition works cumulatively. Here's a realistic timeline for daily use.

Week 1

Getting started

Most Cavaliers take the chew as a treat from day one
EPA and DHA, taurine and CoQ10 begin building up
Pick a time of day and anchor it to a meal — consistency is the whole game
Weeks 4–6

Building the routine

The chew is part of the daily rhythm — no reminders needed
A good window to write down what's normal for her, so you have a baseline
Bring those notes to your next check-up — they're more useful than memory
Month 3+

Long-term support

Omega-3 and taurine are at steady daily intake
This is where the habit pays off — nutrition works on consistency, not intensity
Most owners keep their dog on it as part of standard daily care

Every dog is different. This is a nutritional supplement, not a treatment, and it doesn't replace anything your vet has prescribed — talk to your vet about any change in your dog's health.

Why this one is different

Most small-breed cardiac supplements are a large-dog formula scaled down by weight. This one wasn't.

Got questions? We've got answers.

Is this right for my dog's size?

Kora is dosed for dogs under 20 lb. The amounts were set for that weight range from the start rather than scaled down from a large-breed formula — one chew a day, with every amount printed per chew on the panel so you can check it yourself.

What's actually in it?

EPA and DHA omega-3 lead the formula, with taurine, CoQ10, magnesium and vitamin E behind them.

Full per-chew amounts are on the panel, and we'll send the third-party certificate of analysis on request. We'd rather you compared the numbers than took our word for it.

My Cavalier spits out every supplement. Will she take this?

It's a soft chew rather than a capsule or a tablet you have to bury in cheese, which solves it for most dogs — but not all of them.

If yours won't take it, email us and we'll refund you. You don't need to send the bag back.

How long does one bag last?

One month. Each bag holds 30 chews and a dog under 20 lb gets one a day.

My dog has a diagnosed heart condition. Can she take this?

Talk to your vet or cardiologist first, and follow what they tell you.

Kora is nutritional support for normal heart function. It is not a treatment, it doesn't replace anything your dog has been prescribed, and it isn't intended to manage a diagnosed condition. Plenty of owners do give it alongside prescribed medication — but that's a decision for your vet to make with you, not one we can make for you.

Which breeds is this made for?

It was formulated with Cavaliers in mind, but the dosing is by body weight rather than breed — so it suits any dog under 20 lb.

Can she take this with other medications or supplements?

Check with your vet before adding anything, particularly if she's already on prescribed medication or another fish oil — omega-3 can quietly double up when you're giving two products at once.

How long before I see anything?

We're not going to promise you'll see something, and we'd be suspicious of anyone who did.

This is daily nutrition — it works cumulatively, not as a before-and-after. What owners tell us is that the routine itself is the point: one small thing they can do every morning. If you're watching for a specific change in your dog, that's a conversation for your vet.
